On Friday, August 8, 2025, His Excellency Lieutenant General Dok Sopha, Rector of the National Defense University, visited and greeted the National Defense University Volunteer Medical Team who are providing assistance to refugees temporarily sheltering at Wat Bat Tkao, Bat Tkao Village, Chong Kal Commune, Chong Kal District, Oddar Meanchey Province. On this occasion, His Excellency also led a team to sanitize and clean the surrounding environment of the refugee shelters, particularly after some refugees had returned to their homes following the ceasefire on July 28, 2025.
